Matt Crafton enters his eighth season of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series racing. Crafton will pilot the #88 Menards Chevrolet for Thorsport Racing out of Sandusky, OH.
Crafton, a native of Tulare, CA, kick-started his NASCAR career by winning the then Southwest Tour Series Championship in 2000. In 2001 he joined Thorsport and has been a top-10 Truck Series contender ever since. Last year, 2007, Crafton finished 8th in the season standings with 10 top-10 results, his best a third-place at Atlanta. Crafton's best season to date was to 2004 with Kevin Harvick Inc., where he amassed 6 top-5 finishes en route to a 5th-place finish in the points.
